Christmas Fever

Well, this is the first year we put up outside Christmas lights in any significant amount. It was still small scale, but the kids loved it! They said "daddy, plug in those lights!" in the style of Extreme Home Makeover and with great enthusiasm. We have the tree up and lights in the living room and in the girls' rooms. It's our very own little Charlie Brown Christmas!

Anna has already begun her rage against the tree and we've had to rescue a few ornaments and glue frosty's nose on once.....we'll see who all survives. It's like our own little Christmas Survivor reality show. Last year, another frosty lost his boots and little shepherd boy lost his legs. We'll see how she does this year. You just gotta love her spirit. She just loves "looking" at the ornaments!! We're just trying to keep as many alive as we can until she gets through her Godzilla stage!

Also, we have the elves busy at work on the Christmas cookies....they are a bit inexperienced, but they'll figure it out!! ;)

Halloween visitors and Birthday Fun!

We had visitors on Halloween to help us pass out candy. Dennis's mom, sister and brother visited us for the festivities. Can you see the resemblance?? ;)

Also, we have had some birthday fun. We're not going to mention any ages because it's just not getting any prettier year by year, but here are some photos of the fun! Mommy got birthday cheesecake and daddy got a cake made by Mommy and Emily and decorated with Anna's help. Daddy was SO surprised and loved his private party with his "girl club!"

We are concerned about what age is doing to Dennis.....he is starting to act kind of strange.... :)
