Well, first....
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
I have been taking every opportunity in stores, at work, etc., to wish people a Merry Christmas. God is so good to us that I don't want to neglect to recognize that this beautiful holiday is centered around the birth of His son and my savior, Jesus Christ. We have made sure we tried to let our kids know that He is the reason we celebrate. And of course we let them know that Santa comes and brings then gifts because he wants to celebrate the love of God and celebrate Christmas by giving children gifts. Maybe it's not theologically perfect, but it gets the point across!! ;) It's about God's love and blessing and carefulness about our lives.
And with that being said, let's move on to some photos. Here is the unveiling of Emily's new do....She asked for her hair to be cut as it was really long and difficult for her to brush and take care of, so here she is:
Before...
and after...
What a doll!! She loves it. She keeps going around looking at herself in the mirror today. So, tonight's family devotion will be on humility! ;) Just kidding!
We are also celebrating because I was blessed with a raise at work. I was recently granted a promotion to Principal Therapist, which is just another move up the seniority ladder and it came along with a nice raise. So, we're pretty excited as we had just taken a little bit of a cut from Dennis's income due to insurance premiums increasing. God is always providing and caring for us!!
And here are some shots of the girls recent "chef school" experience. They were running around using their newest phrase they've learned "we're bored" (Gee, you gotta love when they learn that one!!) So...I put them to work in the kitchen and they loved it!! They put on all the toppings and each made their own pizza. Well, I had to help a little...but not much. Anna just wanted to pile all of her toppings in the same spot...so i had to move hers around a bit. Here are sone photos of them at work and in their chef attire....

And lastly, we let the girls open one early Christmas present each last weekend...so of course, they make everything a Kodak moment.
Here is the "Flying Bride":
And Anna opening her worst nightmare...a really fun game called Elefun that she refuses to play
with. It is a really cute game and the rest of us love it, but if it is out, she leaves the room and won't go near it. Go figure....I guess it's her Kryptonite.
Thanks for the interest in our lives! God bless you!
