Extreme Backyard Makeover: Minnis Edition

OK...So it wasn't extreme, but it was fun and Dennis and I are just getting our feet wet in the world of home makovers and building things. Thanks to my mother and father who led us through it holding our hands all the way....we now have a nice little 8 X 16 ft play area for the girls in our backyard. We used to have all of their toys piled onto our patio and in our flower bed.

But now, they have their own area and our patio can be used to sit out and eat on, and the flower beds can be used for...you guessed it, FLOWERS! Yes...we have sunburns and tired backs, but we spent this weekend making new friends at Lowes, buying supplies, mulching, moving things and spreading rocks and...TaDa! Check it out:

Emily wants to share a photo of her friends Braedon and Addyson who visited us last week. They had a great time together and Emily and Anna were so loving with Addyson. I couldn't get a shot of them holding her because I was here with all 4 kids alone. Fun times! We had a good time, but I'm glad I only have 2 kids!! Ha!Ha!



And you thought we were joking about Anna being a clown??! She says "I'm JoJo!"

School is almost out and we should be more regular with posting since we do more fun stuff in the summer time and have no homework! Emily can't wait to be out of school!!! Although we have to go til June 10 because of all the snow we had this year.
